Copper fittings also range in application. Solder fittings require clean, and lubricated connection surfaces, along with heat to create the best and longest lasting connection. This Copper 3" Union is designed to connect two existing copper lines. This union features a threaded ring that is tightened to connect the two soldered fittings. Great for line repairs.
