It is designed as a replacement motor for Copperline coolers, it has all copper windings, 2 speeds, and has a 1/3 HP capacity. It has an AMP rating of 6.5/3.9. This high-efficiency 2-speed swamp cooler motor features permanently lubricated sleeve bearings, an automatic reset thermal overload protection, a high viscosity encapsulating varnish, superior starting features, premium moisture-resistant and high-temperature insulation systems, and a styrenated epoxy coating on rotor. This motor is designed for use with evaporative coolers only. It operates on 115 volts (8.4 amp) and has a 1/2" shaft diameter.
