The faucet lost water pressure from when it was first installed a month ago. What could the reasons be? I tried to remove the screen to see if there was any obstruction but it turns with the tool provided but doesn't come out for cleaning.
Hi there! Thank you for your query about the Delta 9179-BL-DST pull-down faucet. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. If the faucet has lost water pressure shortly after installation, it could be due to debris or mineral buildup in the aerator, screen, or supply lines. Since the screen isn’t coming out easily with the provided tool, try gently turning it again, as trapped debris may be causing it to stick. Avoid using excessive force to prevent damage. To address the issue, first, shut off both hot and cold water supplies, and disconnect the supply lines. Then, unscrew the hose from the spray head and flush each line by running water to clear out any blockages. Also, check that the hot and cold supply valves are fully open. Lastly, reinstall the screen to the spray head. You may refer to the installation manual found on page 10 for more information. We hope this helps. Thank you for trusting PlumbersStock! Have a great day.
