The Liberty 280HV Cast Iron Sump Pump is an effluent pump suitable for low-head to mid-range pumping and basement dewatering. A heavy-duty pump enables sewage to be pumped over long distances. The pump has a discharge size of 1 1/2", and it can handle solids of up to 3/4” in diameter. Its 1/2 hp oil-filled, permanent split capacitor motor is encased in a class 25 cast iron housing.
This Liberty 280HV Cast Iron Sump Pump can pump up to 62 GPM at 5' head pressure and has a shut-off head of 39’. It is manually operated. It includes a multiconductor 10’ power. The voltage needed to run this pump is 208-230V single phase. It utilizes a vortex-style, engineered polymer impeller with pump-out vanes on the back shroud to prevent clogging of debris in the seal area. More details are available in the specification sheets.
