This pump is a self-priming that is intended specifically to suck the water from air conditioning systems. It will be smooth-running because it is resistant to dust, tobacco smoke, algae, mold or bacteria found in condensate water. 

The condensate pump's maximum flow rate of 9.46 LPH and its inlet and outlet adapter is 1/4" (6 mm) in size.
