The Moen FP62327PF is a rough-in valve that has the Posi-Temp pressure-balancing control valve design that helps maintain constant water pressure. It also has an adjustable temperature limit stop and a test plug that allows you to fine-tune your desired water temperature to also eliminate the risk of scalding. With that being said, no more nasty surprises!
Not only that, but this rough-in valve is also part of Moen's M-PACT common valve system that allows you to upgrade any faucet style in the future more easily. That means there's no need for you to change any plumbing every time you want to install a new faucet. Plus, it has a cartridge (1222) that accommodates back-to-back installations. This rough-in valve has three ports with 1/2" cold expansion PEX connections.
This pressure-balancing valve is not only about efficiency but is also about durability. It is made of brass, so resilience is not a concern at all.
