Toro 250-00-04 1" Pin-Type Hydraulic Valve

If you notice any debris in the valve, it's now time to have it cleaned. Start by turning the controller to "System Off" and also by turning off the main water supply. You can then locate the sprinkler valve solenoid, which looks like a cylinder with two wires attached to it, then remove the lid of the valve using a screwdriver, and by doing so, you will have access to the sprinkler valve. You may then turn it counterclockwise to remove it from the sprinkler head. Just turn the top of the valve to reveal the valve housing and continue to twist it until it's totally released. You may then remove the diaphragm and spring which are both located inside the valve. Start by cleaning the diaphragm. You can use your fingers or a cloth to remove any dirt and debris. Then clean the housing using a cloth to prevent dirt and debris from blocking the water. After cleaning, you can start putting the parts back in place. We hope this helps!
