About the Toro 89-1729 MPR Pressure Compensating Nozzle FB-50
The Toro 89-1729 is a quarter-circle spray bubbler from the MPR Nozzle Series. It features a matched precipitation rate (MPR) which ensures all similar nozzles in the sprinkler system apply water at approximately the same rate. These MPR nozzles are pre-installed with Pressure Compensation Discs that conserve the water, but virtually eliminate excessive misting, which leads to evaporation and dry spots.
This MPR bubbler has male threads with a flow rate of 0.5 GPM at a pressure of 20-60 PSI rating range. It has a 2' spray radius with an adjustment screw on the top, allowing for a 25% radius reduction. Each nozzle has a customized screen for consistent water flow, fine-mesh, and a snap-in filter screen for nozzles with lower flow applications.
MPR spray nozzles come in a variety of patterns and sizes, which include 5', 8', 10', 12', and 15' distances and 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, 2/3, 3/4, and the full-spray patterns as well as Side, Center, and End strip Patterns. This nozzle has an impressive 2-year warranty against manufacturer defects and malfunctions.
