About the Toro 89-1798 570Z MPR Series Nozzle with Screen 4S-SST (Stream Spray)
The Toro 89-1798 is an adjustable Side Strip Spray nozzle from the MPR Nozzle Series. It features a matched precipitation rate (MPR) which ensures all similar nozzles in the sprinkler system apply water at approximately the same rate.
This MPR Variable ArcStrip Nozzle has male threads and a flow rate ranging from 0.05-4.58 GPM at a pressure rating range of 20-75 PSI. It has a 4' x 18' spray radius with an adjustment screw on the top that allows for a 25% radius reduction. Each nozzle has a customized screen for consistent water flow and fine-mesh, snap-in filter screens for nozzles with lower flow applications.
MPR spray nozzles come in a variety of patterns and sizes, which include 5', 8', 10', 12', and 15' distances and 1/4, 1/3, 1/2, 2/3, 3/4, and the full-spray patterns as well as Side, Center, and End strip Patterns.
