The Toro EVO-4OD is a 4-station outdoor sprinkler timer that represents the next generation in controllers from Toro's Evolution Series, with Smart Connect capability and add-on devices. Perfect for residential and light-commercial applications, this "Smart" controller features an intuitive interface that can be quickly and conveniently programmed remotely.
The EVO-4OD has shortcut buttons for quick access to basic functions, while the advanced menu supports greater control. It's more complicated, so you may leave that alone if you are not an irrigation professional. With the optional Smart Connect plug-in receiver (not included), the Toro EVO-4OD Evolution outdoor controller can be easily upgraded to communicate wirelessly with several add-on devices that help save water and time. Add-on devices include weather sensors, soil sensors, auxiliary relays, and handheld remote control.
Settings based on sensor data can be manipulated with ease and adjusted manually, or via a computer program, resulting in a comprehensive irrigation system that will require less effort to maintain but will yield a higher-quality landscape. Everything in the system can be programmed with simple-to-use software on your computer, which also offers the versatility of using a standard USB drive to quickly transfer programming to the controller and to save operation logs if desired (Smart Connect is not required for software programming capability).
