From what we know, Air Vents are what can be glued on outside a PVC pipe. We do not manufacture this air gap and we can only supply you with the information we received from the manufacturer. That's not a very good answer...Typically they glue onto the outside of a 1.5" pipe. I read on another company they recommend a 2" coupling and glue on the inside of the 2" coupling. Since you're the manufacturer it should be very easy to test this and give a better answer.
